Galen Druke is the host and producer of the popular "538 Politics" podcast, where he has covered American elections for nearly a decade. He also regularly provides election analysis for ABC News and his work has appeared on the BBC, NPR, C-SPAN, CBC and more. In his work, he uses data and research (and humor!) to cut through the noise and paint a rigorous picture of American politics. He has given talks to a range of academic, professional and governmental organizations, including the Harvard Institute of Politics and the National Conference of State Legislatures.

His long-form reporting includes "The Gerrymandering Project," which was featured on the shortlist for the Data Journalism Awards “Investigation Of The Year.” He previously launched a daily news magazine program on Wisconsin Public Radio and got his start at NPR affiliates in New York City and Baltimore, where he attended The Johns Hopkins University. He is an executive member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences and lives in New York City.
